The Chinese version is available as a PDF.

We thank God for allowing ACCESS to serve our community for the last 19 years. The 2011 Annual Dinner was successfully held on 5/14/2011 at the Empire Garden in Boston Chinatown. Close to 160 people came at 5:00 pm to browse around the program displays, auction and raffle items; and attended the dinner at 6:00 pm.

Rev. Jacob Fung, Pastor Emeritus of Boston Chinese Evangelical Church, prayed for our community. James Lam, President of our Board of Directors, announced the agency’s renewed focus on the family, and the recruitment of three full-time directors: The Adult Basic Education Director, the Director of Children and Families, and the Executive Director. He also honored Dorcas Sung, our volunteer accountant for the last 12 years, the Paul Fellowship of BCEC (Boston Chinese Evangelical Church), which has voluntarily taken on the renovation of our computer lab upon ACCESS’s being awarded a grant for this purpose. He also honored two former volunteers who could not be at the banquet: Cliff Chuang, who had served on our board 2005 to 2010, five of which being our President, and Anita Chow, who volunteered for 7 years as office assistant and served 2009 to 2010 on our Board. David and Joyce Wong, owners of Empire Garden, were also thanked for their generous contribution to ACCESS.

The dinner raised a total of $17,266. Funds will be used for general support of ACCESS except for those specifically designated. We thank all the donors and participants for making this event a success.
